Jeff Carter was supposed to be a part of Team Canada for the upcoming World Cup, but a lower-body injury will force him out, and Corey Perry will replace him.
While Perry is a Triple Gold Club member (Stanley Cup, Olympic gold, World Championship gold), Carter was looking forward to add a World Cup championship to his international resume, which includes Olympic gold (2014), World Juniors gold (2005) and silver (2004), and U-18 gold (2003) in addition to his two Stanley Cups with the Los Angeles Kings.
Speaking of L.A., here he is wearing their white (away) uniform, on card #AF-JC from Upper Deck's 2013-14 SP Game-Used Edition set and Authentic Fabrics sub-set:
It features a black game-worn jersey swatch that may be from one of his Kings uniforms, or perhaps from his days with the Philadelphia Flyers.
