Jessica Hall Autograph Card

Jessica Hall is a model, TV personality (she hosted shows on MTV - such as Burned - and can be seen in her close friend Kendra Wilkinson's Reality TV shows) and also hosts a show on Playboy radio. Her younger sister Stacie Hall played in the MTV series The Hills. She also married secretly in 2011, fearing her Playboy fans might like her less if they found out she wasn't available. Because she's never heard of Shannon Tweed or Demi Moore, probably.

I've known her mostly as a Benchwarmer model, though, like in this card from their 2011 Vault set (card #RG-5 of the Racer Girls autograph sub-set):

There were 20 cards in this sub-set, most (all?) of which used pictures used in previous sets (not autographed) put in front of a new background and autographed, on-card in black sharpie. There are limited-issues as well, signed in coloured sharpies.

Caprice Bourret Autographed 8x10 Picture

Model? Try supermodel.

When the whole world knows you by your first name, and most folks don't even know your last name - you've definitely made a name for yourself. This is what Caprice Bourret has achieved, through modeling mostly, but since she has retired from the glitzy world of runways and advertising, she has successfully ventured into business endeavours such as her lingerie line By Caprice Lingerie, which she started first by licensing her name to a company (Debenhams) for them to make a buck off it, then by re-purchasing the rights to her name and releasing her own stuff; her brand-name has since expanded to include swimwear, sleepwear and bedding.

All this, of course, coming from a woman who between the ages of 23 and 28 was on the cover of over 250 magazines, the least of which was the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, but also Maxim, FHM, Vogue, GQ, Cosmopolitan, Esquire and many others. You'll notice those magazines are targeted to both men and women, teens and adults of all ages. She was all-encompassing as a hottie, but also had the brains to market herself like few others.

Because of that, she has gone on to host numerous TV programs - mostly in Britain, but on our side of then pond, she has also appeared in The Surreal Life. She has gone on to play in theater (Rent and The Vagina Monologues), and released a music single.

And every time she was on TV, whether a Reality TV show or presenting an award at a televised ceremony, she has always appeared as one of the smartest there, never flubbing her lines, always on point, always graceful. Some politicians have 20-people teams of writers and handlers and don't appear as natural and well-spoken in front of the cameras.

I sent Caprice an email on March 2nd and got this signed 8x10 picture (black sharpie, inscribed ''Lots of Love, xxxx'') on the 9th - a single week later, thanks to Her Majesty's post service, U.K.

Megan Hauserman Kiss Card

Just like the Yvette Nelson card I featured earlier, this superb Kiss Card is from Benchwarmer's 2007 Gold Edition set, and features Megan Hauserman, the 21st of only 24 models asked to kiss a card rather than autograph it.

Since then, however, Megan has come a long way. She is pretty much VH1's go-to girl when it comes to Reality TV series, seeing as she's appeared in all of the following shows: Beauty And The Geek (Season 3), Rock Of Love (Season 2), I Love Money (Season 1), Rock of Love: Charm School, The Great Debate, Megan Wants A Millionaire, The Truth Commercial and, of course, Rock Of Love: Where Are They Now. So, really, it seems VH1 is really interested in finding this poor gal somebody to love. Unfortunately for them, it's been reported that she is currently engaged with one Anthony Scirpoli, of Cerca Trova Fashion, a jewelry company. I guess she found her millionaire after all.

She was rewarded for all her hard work in 2008, at the Fox Reality Awards by winning the coveted Best Awkward Moment trophy with Bret Michaels, for their moment in Rock Of Love 2.

Seriously, though, VH1 should branch out and try new people on their shows; it's becoming quite an incestuous relationship of spin-offs and sequels that never seem to end and just keep blending into one another.

Spencer Scott Autograph Card

I wish I would have written this one 25 days ago.. but I didn't have the card yet.

Born on April 4th, 1989, the beautiful model known as Spencer Scott from Dallas, Georgia (a small town not too far from Atlanta) is on the rise.

Eventually, she'd like to be assigned to a brand like Guess? Jeans or Victoria's Secret - and after being Playboy's Miss October 2007, chances are she'll succeed. It has even given her a small role in the Girls Next Door TV series...

For now, she is single, and the most beautiful place she's ever been to is Cancún, Mexico.

Here is a limited (Benchwarmer only 25 made of these purple foil/red back cards) 2008 Benchwarmer Signature Series card (#8 of 12 models who made red back cards). That's why they usually go for $30 or more.

Caroline Beil Autographed Picture

Just like my Britt Reinecke autographed picture, this one featuring Caroline Beil is from a simpler time when an email often was enough to receive a personalized autographed item from overseas.

Nowadays, you're lucky if you get the all items you sent in that self-addressed stamp envelope you included back, in many cases, because celebrities get hassled too often and too many fans turn out to be freaks.

But in this case, Caroline Beil was very generous, taking the time to personalize it to me.

For those who don't know her, she is mostly known as a German TV presenter, first for movie shows, then for celebrity shows. She has also played in films (''Gute Zeiten, Schlechte Zeiten'') and TV telenovelas (''Sturm Der Liebe''), released a CD and singles, and been a contestant of the German version of I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here! All that, plus a divorce and time to write a book when her father died.

And she took the time to write to me. Superb!

Erik Estrada Material Swatch Card

I heard the cries: ''someone call the cops because Martin Brodeur just stole himself another Vezina nomination!''

Well, here he is, and not just any cop - a member of TV's CHiPs (which was the acronym for ''California Highway Patrol'', by the way), Officer Francis ("Frank") "Ponch" Poncherello, or as he is known in real life, Erik Estrada.

CHiPs was really Estrada's biggest role, and he played in all six seasons of the show's run, although a contractual dispute kept him off the first seven episodes of the fifth season. His regular partner, Larry Wilcox (Officer Jonathan A. Baker) played in the first five seasons. Estrada didn't know how to ride motorcycles before getting the gig, so he had to enter an extensive eight-week program to learn before shooting started; most of the time, Wilcox and Estrada actually rode the bikes themselves and performed the smaller stunts. And throughout the course of the series, they never took their handguns out.

After CHiPs, Estrada worked mainly in Spanish telenovelas (those cheap Spanish-language soap operas) and appeared in many a Reality TV show; he also does voice work in cartoons, namely Sealab 2021. He can also be seen in videos for Bad Religion, Eminem and Butthole Surfers.

In addition to all that, he is always involved in charitable work, as can attest this segment of his Wikipedia page.

This card (#TS-EE), from the 2008 Donruss Americana II set, by the company now known as Donruss Playoff LP (TV Stars materials sub-set) features a square swatch of material guaranteed to have been worn by Mr. Estrada. Look at it, look at its colour: it's pretty obvious it's from a CHiPs uniform, too. It is numbered 467/500.

Erin Tietsort Autograph Card

It seems someone wants me to have every single copy of these Erin Tietsort 2008 Benchwarmer autograph cards (card #26)! Indeed, I had previously written an entry on my three Ebay-purchased copies of this card, and a friend was kind enough to send me a fourth one.

This time, her signature resembles the middle card in my previous entry; they are just about identical.

I wonder how many of these Benchwarmer have produced. I don't think I'm anywhere near.

Although Tietsort is known primarily for being a (beautiful) model, she has also been in two Reality TV shows, Sunset Tan (in which she runs a tanning salon) and Reality Obsessed, a show about Reality TV shows, which shows her behind the scenes of Sunset Tan. She is also MySpace friends with my band.
